Fiber optic twister can be used in the image Inversion system ,it inverts an image to 180°from its input surface to its output surface. Fiber optic twisters are mainly used in low-level night vision image intensifier tubes,it greatly reduces the volume,weight and cost of image intensifier and miniaturizes the night vision devices. The objective lens of the night vision device inverts  image while the fiber optic twister turns this image right side up.
